Sleek contour palette *Review

Tuesday 13 January 2015

Hey everyone! Today I'm going to be talking about a makeup product that I have had for just under a month now. It is the Sleek contour kit and is in the shade 'Light' because I am quite pale, this cost £6.49 from Superdrug. In the palette there is a contour and highlight. The good thing I think about the palette is that it comes in 3 different shades. 'Light, medium and dark' so it will be perfect for every skin tone.

First of all, it is quite small so it is easy to have in your bag to touch up through the day if needed, but personally, I think that the contour is a very long wearing apart but instead the highlight tends to come off throughout the day. Also, this palette has two products so it saves room in your bag but is still a very high quality product.

Now I'm going to talk about the individual products in the palette.
Firstly about the contour press powder, finally I found a contour that doesn't look orange my skin unlike others because my skin is quite pale. The contour is quite pigmented so you won't need to use a lot of it, which will mean it will last a lot longer! This contour is also matte, so will look nice with any kind of eye makeup. I lightly brush this below my cheeks where the natural shadow would be.
Next the Highlight, same as the contour, it is quite pigmented so again you won't need to use a huge amount of it. Unfortunately, this doesn't last all day so it might mean you want to keep touching up throughout the day if you want. The highlight leaves a beautiful shimmer on your face but also looking natural at the same time. I lightly brush this above my cheekbones and on my cupids-bow and on the bridge on a daily basis. Both the contour and highlight is very light on your skins so you can't feel it, which makes it more comfortable to wear all day.

On to the packaging, I really like it because it doesn't look tacky and looks very professional for a drugstore brand. It's a great quality product and overall I think it is a lovely product especially if you can't afford high-end products.

You can buy this product here.

I hope you enjoyed my first main post, you will not regret buying this product!
